Laure Guilbault
Hello,
I'm Laure Guilbault, a fashion journalist based in Paris. I've been covering the luxury sector for over a decade and am currently the Paris correspondent for Vogue Business where I report on fashion, beauty, jewelry, watches and hospitality — see my recent articles. I regularly participate in luxury conferences, as a moderator or a speaker and teach at the Institut Français de la Mode.
During the pandemic, I created a weekly interview show called ‘Sunday Night Live’, which is now in its fourth season. Every Sunday at 6pm CET, I host a casual, intimate conversation with celebrated designers, stylists, creators, actors, models, perfumers, athletes, entrepreneurs… You can find past episodes of Sunday Night Live on Instagram @laureguilbault, YouTube, Apple Podcasts or Spotify. Don't miss the recent ones with Paul Smith, Thomas Jolly, Kelly Rutherford, Judith Godrèche and more.
I have co-hosted shows for Canal+ and Paris Fashion Week. I was a guest in Philippe Labro's show L'Essentiel on C8 to speak about couture. I was the editorial director of a film on the Harper's Bazaar exhibition at Musée des Arts Décoratifs.
I studied literature at Lycée Condorcet in Paris before earning a master's degree at CELSA Sorbonne in Paris. After graduation I moved to New York where I interned for the UN radio station. I began my career in journalism covering beauty, food (an important beat if you are a starving journalist!), the business of publishing, lifestyle & celebrities, as well as major events from the 2008 financial crisis and the Dominique Strauss-Kahn scandal to the Obama inauguration.
In 2012, I moved back to France to work at the Paris bureau of Women's Wear Daily, then at Les Échos and later on at Business of Fashion before joining Vogue Business in 2020.
